The Brushstroke Camo Collection is a collaboration between Giordana and Brand Ambassador Jensen Esteves. Drawing inspiration from a desire to blend in, this kit has the ability to also stand out on the road. The pattern is an homage to Jensen's birthplace, the Philippines. The Brushstroke Camouflage is one of the earliest camo designs and initially designed for British Army paratroopers and then used by the Philippine Military for a brief time beginning in 1977.

Artist's Inspiration:

BLENDING IN
Moving from the Philippines to California and then to New York, each time I was in a new place, my initial instinct was to blend in, to camouflage myself.
STANDING OUT
I’ve always felt a need to do the opposite and it is one of the reasons I gravitated towards camo. Not just the patterns, the colors, the science, the history, but that its purpose is to make one invisible but when used differently, it can allow one to stand out and be seen.

Brushstroke camo is one of the earliest designs known and initially designed for British Army paratroopers and then briefly used by the Philippine Military beginning in 1977. Take a closer look at the design and one can find cities. Look a little harder and one will find the name of my wife and kids– Maia and Luca. A gentle reminder to pay attention to the details and when I wear this kit on a ride, they are always with me.
